Carl Taylor
Dust Science doesn’t release records just because the people behind it love the music other people call techno.
No, we have an obsession with this music, a compulsive need to return to its rhythm of life. It is that innate, in-born connection with rhythm which we share with Carl Taylor and which makes him the ideal [...]
Dan Curtin
Dan Curtin has been the DJ's friend for many years, delivering an arsenal of sonic weapons that have cemented his reputation as one of the finest talents in techno. "Deep" is a much abused term but it's amply justified in Curtin's case: his productions exude authority and emotional richness while being capable of dancefloor devastation.
Derailleur
Derailleur has attracted plenty of attention from the electro, techno and house cognoscenti since his debut in 2004. Two scorching EPs on Varial delivered deep, groovy funky tech house and deep, electro-tinged techno of a very high quality indeed.

Fred Giannelli
A lot of people in the techno scene appreciate the genre’s industrial music history, but few can claim to have helped make that history. Fred Giannelli can. Active in electronic music since the 70s, he met Genesis P Orridge in his home town of Boston and he released proto-techno 12s on Psychic TV's Temple Records in the mid-80s. He then joined the band, re-shaping it for acid house.

System 23
Peaktime clubbing moments are built on anonymity. Those fragments of time when you're blown away by music that you just know you will never, ever, be able to identify. System 23 make that music. Tracks that lay waste to the dancefloor because everything is a hook.
The Bass Soldier
At just 18yrs old The Bass Soldier is the youngest kid on the Dust Science block and he’s already broken his duck with a couple of Black Dog remixes. Always different and somewhat of a difficult outsider, Bassy’s take on things is almost always different to those around him – and that’s why we love [...]
The Black Dog
A lot of people love music. A lot of musicians love music, despite it being their job. After all, how many bin men love black bags? How many salesmen love their target? For musicians, work means another day in the studio, another set of A&R men to make happy, another day knowing you've sold your soul for a strap-on! Working in music is poisonous. Yet a lot of musicians love music anyway.
